Core responsibilities
Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (cocktails, beer, wine, mixed drinks) following standard recipes
Taking orders directly from customers or via waitstaff
Checking IDs to verify legal drinking age
Maintaining the bar area — stocking, cleaning, restocking glassware and supplies
Operating a cash register/POS system, handling payments and tabs
Managing inventory — tracking stock levels, ordering supplies, minimizing waste
Monitoring customers’ alcohol consumption and cutting off service responsibly
Following health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
