Key Responsibilities
Package products according to work instructions (counting, weighing, bagging, boxing, palletizing).
Operate packaging equipment (e.g., fillers, sealers, labelers, case packers) and perform routine start-up checks.
Apply labels and packaging codes (lot/batch numbers, expiration dates, barcodes) accurately.
Verify product quality: correct quantity, correct packaging type, no damage/contamination.
Maintain production records (counts, waste, rejects, downtime logs) and complete checklists.
Perform basic machine troubleshooting and escalate issues to maintenance/supervisors.
Handle materials safely (moving totes/cases, staging items, stocking packaging supplies).
