Operates and monitors manufacturing equipment and production lines to produce quality products on schedule. Performs routine maintenance, inspects output, troubleshoots basic issues, and follows safety and quality procedures to meet production targets.
Key responsibilities:
Monitor machine performance, product quality, and process parameters; make adjustments or escalate to maintenance/engineering as needed.
Perform in-process inspections and record production data (counts, cycle times, downtime, rejects).
Load/unload materials, feed parts, assemble components, and package finished goods as required.
Conduct basic preventive maintenance and housekeeping on machines (cleaning, lubrication, filter changes).
Report incidents, defects, or non-conformances and complete required documentation (logbooks, inspection reports).
Qualifications & skills
High school diploma or equivalent; Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial equipment.
Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, SOPs, and safety rules.
Basic math skills for counts and measurements.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under time pressure and meet production targets.
