Crane Operator

Core responsibilities:

Operate cranes (mobile, tower, overhead, crawler, or gantry) according to load charts, plans, and lift procedures.
Read and interpret lift plans, blueprints, and rigging diagrams.
Conduct pre-shift and pre-lift inspections (mechanical, controls, hoist, rigging).
Calculate loads, rigging needs, and safe crane capacities; consult load charts.
Signal or respond to certified signal persons and maintain clear radio/visual communication.
Coordinate lifts with site personnel, rigger teams, and supervisors to sequence work safely and efficiently.

Required qualifications & credentials:

 technical/vocational training preferred,  Strong mechanical aptitude and hand–eye coordination.
Excellent spatial awareness and depth perception.
Sound knowledge of rigging principles and load calculations.
Clear communication and teamwork; able to follow/interpret signals.
Attention to detail, patience, and calmness under pressure.
