Plan and teach classes (vinyasa, hatha, restorative, yin, prenatal, etc.) appropriate to the target students’ levels.
Provide clear verbal cues and safe hands-on adjustments and modifications for injuries, limitations, and special populations.
Create progressive class sequences and lesson plans; adapt class content to attendance and skill level.
Assess student needs, track progress, and offer individualized guidance.
Ensure studio safety and cleanliness; set up props and equipment
Welcome and orient new students; answer questions about class styles and memberships.
Promote studio events, workshops, and private sessions to grow class participation and revenue.
Desirable skills and attributes includes; Excellent verbal communication and cueing skills.
Ability to demonstrate, correct alignment, and give tactile adjustments safely.
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal/customer-service skills.
Basic marketing skills (social media, email outreach) and ability to upsell private lessons/workshops.
Time management, punctuality, and professionalism.
