Dishwasher

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment (dishwasher, sinks, sanitizing stations).
Scrape, sort, pre-rinse items according to kitchen procedures.
Ensure dishes are properly cleaned, dried, and stored.
Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing station and trash/recycling area.
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures (including sanitizer concentration and contact time).
Restock dish supplies (e.g., clean plates, cups, utensils).
Assist with basic kitchen tasks as needed (e.g., wiping tables, stocking, bussing).

Required Qualifications includes:  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours (including weekends/holidays).
Basic understanding of sanitation and safe food-handling practices.
Ability to lift moderate weights (commonly up to ~25–50 lbs, varies by employer).
Good attention to detail and stamina for standing/walking for long periods.
