Key responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
Test electrical systems using multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers, and other diagnostic tools.
Ensure all work meets local codes, the National Electrical Code (NEC) (or country equivalent), and safety regulations.
Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and building inspectors; prepare work estimates and material lists.
Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and safety checks.
Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs after hours as needed.
Technical skills & Qualification
High school Diploma or equivalent, Strong understanding of AC/DC theory, circuits, transformers, motors, and controls.
Knowledge of NEC/local electrical codes, grounding/ bonding, and load calculations.
Experience with testing equipment (multimeter, megger, clamp meter), and hand/power tools.
Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, motor control centers, and automation systems for industrial roles.
Ability to read electrical schematics and perform panel/equipment layouts.
