Rigger

Job Details:

Select and inspect rigging hardware (slings, shackles, wires, hooks, spreader bars, chain falls).
Set up and secure loads, attach slings and guides, apply taglines.
Signal and communicate with crane operators / equipment operators.
Perform pre-use inspections and routine maintenance of rigging gear; tag out defective gear.
Execute lifts per safe work method statements / lift plans and follow confined-space/permit rules when applicable.

Required skills & attributes includes;  Good mechanical aptitude, spatial awareness and practical math (weights, angles, load distribution).
Physical strength, stamina and balance; comfortable working at height and in variable conditions.
Knowledge of rigging hardware, knots, hitch types and load-control techniques.
Clear radio/hand-signalling and teamwork/communication skills.
Attention to detail and strong safety mindset.
