Main purpose: Operate and maintain packaging machinery to accurately and efficiently package products while meeting quality, safety, and production targets. Perform line setup, routine adjustments, inspections, and basic troubleshooting; follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain accurate production records, Report equipment faults and escalate complex issues to maintenance/engineering.
Assist with inventory handling of packaging materials (labels, cartons, film) and ensure correct materials are used.
Participate in continuous improvement activities (5S, Kaizen) to increase line efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications & skills includes; High school Diploma or equivalent, Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
Ability to read labels, work orders, and simple technical documentation.
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and standing for long periods.
Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
Able to lift and perform physical tasks safely.
Flexible to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as required.
