Key responsibilities:
Monitor machine performance, gauges, and control panels; adjust settings to maintain product specifications.
Inspect work in process and finished parts using measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, gauges); record measurements.
Perform routine maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, minor adjustments) and report malfunctions.
Troubleshoot simple machine issues; tag out and escalate complex repairs to maintenance.
Keep production logs, quality records, and complete required documentation.
Follow safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and PPE requirements.
Meet production targets and quality standards while minimizing waste and downtime.
Participate in continuous improvement and 5S/lean activities.
Required skills and qualifications such as: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
Familiarity with reading blueprints, technical drawings, and basic GD&T.
Basic math skills and ability to use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).
Mechanical aptitude and steady hand-eye coordination.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; attention to detail.
Good attendance record and reliability.
