Key responsibilities / duties
Provide massage treatments using techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and others as appropriate.
Develop and explain individualized treatment plans and adjustments during sessions.
Educate clients on self‑care, stretching, posture and home techniques.
Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes.
Adhere to sanitation, safety, and infection-control protocols; clean and prepare treatment rooms between clients.
Manage scheduling, timekeeping, and point-of-sale or billing when required.
Required qualifications & skills
High school diploma or equivalent, Proficiency with multiple massage modalities and ability to tailor techniques to client needs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; client-focused and professional bedside manner.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Basic computer skills for charting and scheduling systems.
