Key duties & responsibilities

General cleaning: sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, polish furniture, clean bathrooms and kitchens, remove trash.
Laundry & linen care: wash, dry, iron, fold clothes and linens; change beds and store laundered items neatly.
Kitchen support: wash dishes, clean countertops and appliances, basic meal preparation and reheating when requested.
Organization: declutter rooms, organize closets/cupboards, maintain inventory of household supplies and notify employer when restocking is needed.
Errands & shopping: buy household essentials, drop off/pick up dry cleaning, occasional bank/post office trips (if agreed).
Child & pet support (optional & only if agreed): light childcare tasks (supervising short periods, preparing snacks) or feeding/walking pets.

Required skills & qualifications

Prior experience in household cleaning or professional housekeeping preferred.
Able to follow instructions, work independently, and manage time.
Basic knowledge of cleaning products, laundry care, and appliance operation.
Good physical stamina — able to stand, bend, lift (reasonable weights) and perform repetitive tasks.
Trustworthy, punctual, honest, and respectful of employer’s privacy.
Basic communication in the household’s language; ability to read labels and follow simple written instructions.
