Job Summary
Monitor production to ensure proper operation, correct settings, and consistent output.
Perform quality checks (measurements, visual inspection, verify first-article/ongoing checks).
Maintain safety compliance (PPE, lockout/tagout awareness, follow safety rules).
Basic troubleshooting and notify maintenance/supervisors for issues beyond skill level.
Clean and maintain equipment (daily/assigned preventive tasks, housekeeping).
Complete production records/logs (counts, downtime, scrap, machine settings, inspection results).
Report problems promptly (defects, machine faults, material shortages, unsafe conditions).
Required Skills & Qualifications
High school Diploma or equivalent, Ability to read work instructions, SOPs, and safety signage.
Basic math and measurement skills (tolerances, gauges, rulers/calipers—if applicable).
Mechanical aptitude and comfort learning machine controls.
Ability to stand for long periods and work in an industrial environment.
Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures exactly.
