Key responsibilities:
Read and interpret P&IDs, schematics, pump curves, technical manuals, and service bulletins.
Conduct preventive maintenance (lubrication, vibration checks, visual inspections, seal flushes).
Use vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and pressure/flow testing to diagnose problems.
Perform welding, brazing, and basic fabrication as needed for repairs.
Operate and maintain tooling and test rigs; source replacement parts.
Enter work orders, material usage, and time in a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Ensure compliance with safety procedures (lockout/tagout, confined space entry, hazardous materials handling).
Coordinate with operations, engineering, and vendors for complex repairs or overhauls.
Required qualifications/ skills
High school diploma or equivalent; pump rebuilding, mechanical seal replacement, shaft alignment, vibration analysis, hydraulic fundamentals, basic welding, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, use of test gauges.
IT/Systems: CMMS, basic PLC readouts, Microsoft Office.
