Carpenter

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Lay out, measure, cut, shape and assemble wood and composite materials.
Build and install formwork, scaffolding, framing, roofs, floors, and door/window frames.
Install trim, molding, cabinetry, countertops and finish carpentry.
Operate hand and power tools safely (saws, planers, routers, nail guns, chisels).
Perform repairs and remodelling work, including demolition and replacement.
Verify work meets building codes and dimensions; coordinate with other trades 

Technical and soft skills such as:    

Carpentry skills: framing, finish work, cabinetry, roofing, formwork.
Math: measuring, squaring, calculating angles, read dimensions.
Blueprint reading and layout.
Tool proficiency: circular/compound miter saw, table saw, jigsaw, planer, nailers, power drills.
Problem-solving, attention to detail, spatial/visualization skills.
Physical stamina, manual dexterity, balance.
