Job Summary
Operate production equipment: mixers/blenders, filling lines, cappers, labelers, packers/palletizers.
Monitor quality: check fill levels, label placement, code dates, seal integrity, and basic product/packaging appearance.
Follow SOPs & work instructions: batch production instructions, cleaning schedules, changeovers.
Perform sanitation/food-safety tasks: CIP/sanitation checks (as trained), line cleaning, hygiene compliance.
Handle materials: move ingredients, concentrate, bottles/cans, caps, labels; verify correct lot numbers.
Maintain documentation: production logs, batch records, line start-up/shutdown records, deviations, and QA checks.
Required Skills: Food safety/GMP knowledge: basic understanding of GMP, HACCP (may be a requirement depending on employer).
Technical comfort: ability to read work instructions, control panels, and basic mechanical understanding.
Attention to detail: quality checks and correct batch/label/coding.
Teamwork & shift work: ability to work nights/weekends/rotating shifts if needed.
