Main Purpose of the Role
Inspect pumps and related equipment Mechanical seals, bearings, couplings, impellers, motors/drives
Valves, piping connections, strainers, filters, gauges, and alarms
Diagnose faults Leaks, cavitation, vibration, misalignment, low/high flow issues
Motor or drive problems, bearing failures, seal wear
Perform repairs and replacements Mechanical seal replacement, bearing replacement, impeller repair
Rebuilds, hose/pipe repairs, gasket/liner replacement (depending on pump type)
Conduct maintenance tasks Preventive maintenance schedules and work order documentation
Lubrication, cleaning, alignment checks, wear-part inspection.
