Cyber security Analyst

Primary responsibilities:

Monitor security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and network devices; triage and investigate events.
Perform incident response: containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident analysis.
Conduct vulnerability scans, prioritize remediation, and validate fixes.
Manage and tune security tools (SIEM rule creation, EDR policies, firewall rules, IDS signatures).
Perform log analysis, threat hunting, and threat intelligence correlation.
Support identity and access management (IAM) reviews and privileged access monitoring.
Maintain and update incident playbooks, runbooks, and run tabletop exercises.
Produce security reports and metrics for technical teams and leadership.
