Primary responsibilities:
Load, operate, and unload commercial dishwashing machines.
Wash, rinse, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
Hand-wash oversized items and delicate cookware as needed.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors; empty trash and recycling; clean drains and grease traps as assigned.
Clean and sanitize prep areas, counters, sinks, and equipment according to schedule and health code.
Receive and store deliveries when required; assist with basic food prep (peeling, trimming) if asked.
Maintain organized dish/utensil storage and supply levels (soap, sanitizers, towels).
Report equipment problems, breakage, or safety hazards to supervisor.
Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
