Massage Therapist

Core responsibilities:

Conduct intake and health-history assessments; determine contraindications.
Perform tailored massage treatments (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal) based on client needs.
Develop short-term treatment plans and recommend follow-up care/home exercises.
Document treatments, progress notes, and client consent as required.
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and proper setup of treatment room and equipment.
Educate clients on self-care, posture, stretches, and injury prevention.
Manage appointment schedule, timekeeping, and professional communication.
Adhere to legal, ethical, and safety standards (scope of practice, reporting, client privacy).
Promote services and maintain positive client relationships to support retention.
