Select appropriate welding equipment and techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick/Arc, Flux-Cored, etc.)
Prepare metal surfaces before welding (cleaning, grinding, aligning)
Join, fuse, or repair metal components to required specifications
Inspect finished welds for defects (cracks, porosity, misalignment)
Operate cutting tools (plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene torches)
Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment
Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear (helmet, gloves, apron)
Measure and mark materials for cutting or assembly
Keep records of work performed, materials used, and inspections.
