Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans before construction begins
Team Coordination: Hire and supervise subcontractors, laborers, and site staff; assign tasks and manage schedules
Budget Management: Track costs, approve expenditures, negotiate with suppliers/vendors, and prevent cost overruns
Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits/inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA (or local equivalent) safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Permits & Regulations: Ensure all necessary building permits and code compliance are obtained and maintained
Communication: Serve as the liaison between clients, architects, engineers, government inspectors, and the construction crew.
