Key Duties:
Preparing surfaces before painting: cleaning, sanding, scraping off old paint, filling holes/cracks, applying primer
Selecting appropriate paints, stains, or coatings based on the surface and environment
Mixing and matching paint colours to specification
Applying paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
Covering/protecting floors, furniture, and fixtures with tarps or tape
Erecting scaffolding, ladders, or lifts to reach high areas safely
Applying wallpaper, textures, or specialty finishes (faux finishing, staining, varnishing)
Inspecting finished work for quality and touch-ups.
