Read and interpret site plans, grading plans, and blueprints
Perform grading and leveling work to precise specifications
Load trucks, dump materials, and coordinate with ground crew using hand signals/radio
Conduct pre-operation equipment inspections and basic maintenance (fluid levels, tracks, hydraulics)
Identify and avoid underground utilities (gas lines, cables, pipes)
Follow site safety protocols and OSHA regulations
Keep logs of hours operated, fuel usage, and maintenance issues
Work alongside laborers, surveyors, and site supervisors.
