Moving materials within a facility — from receiving to storage, storage to production lines, or production to shipping
Stacking and organizing pallets, often in high racking systems
Reading work orders, labels, or pick lists to move the correct items
Inspecting the forklift before each shift (fluid levels, tires, brakes, forks, warning lights, horn)
Maintaining inventory accuracy — scanning barcodes, updating counts, reporting discrepancies
Following safety protocols — speed limits, load capacity rules, pedestrian right-of-way.
