Installs, maintains, tests, repairs, or troubleshoots equipment/systems on-site (at client locations, construction sites, telecom towers, oil rigs, data centers, etc., depending on industry)
Acts as the technical link between the company and the customer — diagnosing problems in the field rather than in an office or lab
Documents work performed, writes service reports, and communicates findings back to engineering/support teams
Trains customers or junior staff on equipment use
Coordinates with project managers, sales, or R&D on technical issues discovered in the field.
