Supervise waitstaff, hosts, bartenders, and bussers during shifts
Assign tables/sections and manage floor coverage
Train new employees on service standards and procedures
Monitor staff performance and provide on-the-spot coaching
Handle scheduling, shift swaps, and staffing gaps
Conduct pre-shift briefings (specials, reservations, VIPs)
Customer Service
Ensure guests receive prompt, high-quality service
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues on the spot
Greet and check in with guests, especially regulars or VIPs
Step in to serve, host, or bus tables during rushes if needed.
