Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Scrape, rinse, sort, and load dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and utensils into commercial dishwashers (or wash by hand for delicate items, large cookware, or wooden items).
Unload clean items, dry if needed, and restock them in proper storage areas so servers and cooks have a steady supply.
Clean and sanitize kitchen tools, appliances (e.g., mixers, coffee machines, blenders), cutting boards, and work surfaces according to health and safety standards.
Maintain the dishwashing area: sweep/mop floors, clean sinks and machines, empty trash/recycling, and handle spills or broken items.
Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed, such as basic food prep (washing/peeling vegetables), unloading deliveries, restocking supplies, or helping with closing duties.
