Laundry Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and schedule a team of laundry attendants (often across shifts), assign tasks, monitor productivity, train staff, evaluate performance, and handle basic personnel matters (e.g., coaching, discipline recommendations).
Oversee the full laundry process: collecting/sorting soiled items, washing, drying, ironing/pressing, folding, quality inspection (including stain treatment and re-wash), packaging, and distribution to housekeeping, food & beverage, or other departments.
Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, ironers, folders, conveyors, steam tunnels); troubleshoot minor issues and report major maintenance needs.
Manage inventory of linens, chemicals, detergents, and supplies; conduct par counts, order as needed, control costs, and minimize waste.
