Key responsibilities:
Operate and maintain production services: monitor health, respond to incidents, and drive rapid restoration.
Runbook & run-time playbooks: create, update, and own runbooks and runbooks automation.
Incident management: lead or participate in on-call rotations, perform triage, blameless postmortems, and corrective actions.
Observability & monitoring: design, implement, and tune metrics, dashboards, alerts, and distributed tracing.
Reliability engineering: identify reliability risks, run chaos testing, define SLOs/SLIs, and track error budgets.
Capacity & performance: forecast capacity needs, tune systems, and runload/perf tests.
Automation & tooling: automate manual ops, CI/CD pipelines, and operational tasks (deployments, rollbacks, scaling).
