Safety Manager

Core responsibilities:

Develop, implement and continuously improve the HSE management system, policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with applicable local, regional and national safety and environmental regulations.
Conduct risk assessments, job safety analyses (JSAs), and hazard identification for processes and sites.
Lead incident/near‑miss investigation and root-cause analysis; produce corrective action plans and follow-up.
Plan and deliver safety training (induction, refresher, behavior-based safety, PPE use, permit systems).
Manage safety audits, inspections and contractor safety performance; ensure corrective actions are closed.
Maintain and report HSE metrics and dashboards to senior management; prepare statutory reporting.
Oversee emergency preparedness and response planning, drills, and crisis coordination.
Select, manage and ensure proper use of PPE and safety engineering controls.
