Core Responsibilities:
Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, holes, and drainage systems
Load and unload trucks, move materials, and grade or level land
Read blueprints, site plans, or grade stakes to work to precise depths and dimensions
Perform pre-operation inspections (fluids, hydraulics, tracks, attachments) and basic maintenance
Follow safety protocols — signal to spotters, avoid underground utilities, work near other crew safely
Coordinate with site supervisors, surveyors, and other equipment operators.
