Kitchen Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and sanitizing workstations, floors, walls, equipment, utensils, dishes, and appliances to meet hygiene standards.
Receiving, unpacking, organizing, and storing deliveries; rotating stock using FIFO (first-in, first-out) principles; checking expiry dates.
Transferring ingredients from storage to prep areas.
Washing dishes, pots, and pans (manually or with dishwashers).
Taking out rubbish and maintaining cleanliness of refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas.
Assisting with basic cooking tasks under supervision (e.g., stirring sauces, heating soups, preparing simple items like snacks, beverages, or appetizers).
Supporting service by fetching items, replenishing supplies, and helping with plating or presentation when needed.
