Cyber security Analyst

Monitoring networks, systems, and security tools (especially SIEM platforms) for suspicious activity, alerts, and breaches.
Investigating and responding to security incidents in real time, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
Conducting vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and (in some roles) penetration testing; coordinating remediation and patching.
Installing, configuring, and maintaining security tools such as firewalls, encryption software, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
Researching the latest threats, attack techniques, and security trends.
Preparing detailed reports on incidents, metrics, attempted attacks, and security posture for management and stakeholders.
