Key Responsibilities and Duties
Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, diagrams, and service instructions.
Inspecting machinery to diagnose malfunctions, defects, or wear (visual checks, diagnostic tools, and observation of operation).
Performing preventive/routine maintenance: cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, and checking components (belts, motors, drives, fluid levels, filters, etc.).
Disassembling equipment, repairing or replacing worn/damaged/defective parts (gears, bearings, seals, hoses, pumps, etc.), then reassembling and testing.
Installing, aligning, balancing, calibrating, and commissioning new machinery.
