Supervising and leading a team of laundry attendants/workers across shifts (assigning tasks, monitoring productivity, and ensuring daily production goals are met).
Overseeing the full laundry process: collecting/sorting soiled items, washing, drying, ironing/pressing, folding, quality inspection, storing, and distributing clean linens/uniforms.
Maintaining linen/uniform inventory (par levels, counts, tracking losses/damages, and coordinating reorders or replacements).
Managing chemical and supply inventory; ensuring proper dosing, safe handling, and cost control.
Training new staff on equipment operation, folding standards, stain treatment, chemical safety, hygiene, and quality procedures; coaching and evaluating performance.
Monitoring and maintaining laundry equipment (washers, dryers, ironers, folders, conveyors); performing minor troubleshooting, coordinating repairs with engineering/maintenance, and ensuring cleanliness.
