Job Details
Performs day-to day accounting tasks to support the finance team, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, maintaining records, and supporting month‑end close and audits. Ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls.
Core responsibilities:
Accounts payable: receive, code and enter supplier invoices; obtain approvals; prepare payments and reconcile vendor statements.
Accounts receivable: prepare and send invoices, post receipts, follow up on overdue accounts, and reconcile customer statements.
Bank and cash: post bank deposits, perform daily cash postings, maintain petty cash and prepare bank reconciliations.
General ledger: post journal entries, maintain subsidiary ledgers, and assist with month‑end closing tasks (accruals, prepayments).
Reconciliations: reconcile intercompany accounts, credit card statements, and other balance sheet accounts.
Recordkeeping: file and maintain finance documentation (electronic and paper) and support audit requests.
Reporting support: prepare routine reports (aged payables/receivables, cash position) and ad‑hoc data extracts for finance management.
Controls & compliance: follow company policies, support internal/external audits, and suggest process improvements.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Good organizational/time management skills; able to prioritize.
Clear written and verbal communication for vendor/customer contact.
Integrity and discretion handling confidential financial data.
Problem‑solving mindset; process improvement orientation.
