Moving earth, materials, or debris — digging, grading, leveling, lifting, or hauling
Reading blueprints, grade stakes, or site plans to know exactly where and how deep to dig or level
Performing pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance (checking fluids, tires/tracks, hydraulics)
Coordinating with ground crew, foremen, and other operators via hand signals or radio.
