Plans, coordinates, budgets, and supervises construction projects from start to finish. They ensure projects meet scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements while managing on-site teams, subcontractors, and client communications.
Core responsibilities
Develop, maintain and execute project schedules (critical path, recovery plans).
Manage project budgets: track costs, approve invoices, forecast variances, control change orders.
Coordinate procurement, materials deliveries, and site logistics.
Enforce site safety programs and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Conduct progress meetings and report status to owners/clients and stakeholders.
Manage quality control/assurance, inspections, punch lists and commissioning activities.
Required qualifications & skills
High school Diploma or equivalent, Construction scheduling: MS Project, Primavera P6.
Project management / collaboration: Procore, PlanGrid, Viewpoint, Aconex.
Estimating & cost control tools or spreadsheets (Excel advanced).
Familiarity with BIM workflows and Bluebeam/Revit is a plus.
Strong leadership and team management.
Clear client and stakeholder communication.
Problem solving and decisive judgment under pressure.
Negotiation and conflict resolution.
