Cyber security Analyst

Monitors, detects, investigates, and responds to security incidents; maintains security tooling and controls; and supports vulnerability management and security improvements to reduce risk also perform threat hunting and log analysis across endpoints, networks, and cloud.
Manage vulnerability scanning and follow up on remediation.
Maintain and tune security tooling (SIEM correlation rules, EDR policies, IDS signatures).
Run security configuration reviews, hardening and baseline compliance checks.
Produce incident reports, post‑incident reviews and recommendations.
Work with IT, DevOps and app teams to implement secure designs and fixes.

Required skills & Qualifications

High school Diploma or equivalent, Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, common ports, packet analysis basics).
Endpoint security concepts (processes, autoruns, memory/timeline basics).
Vulnerability assessment and patch management workflows.
Scripting for automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
Familiarity with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and identity/access concepts.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and incident documentation skills.
