Key responsibilities:
Commission new electrical installations and modifications; ensure correct testing, calibration, and documentation.
Maintain and update electrical drawings, schematics, and maintenance records.
Diagnose and resolve PLC, HMI, and control system issues in coordination with automation engineers.
Conduct safety inspections, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and ensure compliance with electrical codes and company procedures.
Plan and execute shutdowns and turnarounds: scope, schedule, resource and spare-parts coordination.
Implement reliability-improvement projects (root-cause analysis, corrective actions, preventive measures).
Train operations and maintenance staff on safe use and basic troubleshooting of electrical systems.
Required qualifications & skills
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent technical qualification, Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
Hands-on skills with multimeters, insulation testers, clamp meters, oscilloscopes, and thermal cameras.
PLC/HMI troubleshooting and basic programming/debugging.
VFD, motor control Center, and relay logic knowledge.
Experience with UPS, generators, and backup power systems
