Core responsibilities;
Perform on-site installation, configuration, testing, calibration, and commissioning of equipment/systems per specs and standards.
Diagnose and repair hardware, firmware, and network/software issues; perform root-cause analysis for repeat problems.
Execute preventive maintenance and upgrades; maintain accurate service records, reports, and work orders in company systems (CRM/CMMS).
Provide customer training, handover documentation, and technical support during and after deployment.
Coordinate with project managers, engineering, and logistics to plan site visits, parts, and scheduling.
Typical qualifications & skills
High school Diploma or equivalent, Hands-on hardware diagnostics and repair.
Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing/switching) for IT/telecom roles.
System installation, cabling, and power management.
Use of diagnostic/test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network testers).
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
