Design Structures: Create safe, economical, and sustainable designs for buildings, bridges, towers, and other infrastructure
Prepare Technical Drawings: Use CAD software to develop detailed construction specifications and blueprints
Structural Analysis: Calculate the effects of weight, wind, seismic forces, and material properties
Site Inspections: Monitor construction to ensure compliance with design plans and safety standards
Collaboration: Work with architects, contractors, and engineers to coordinate requirements and resolve challenges
Regulatory Compliance: Verify all designs and construction meet building codes and environmental standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field, CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)
Structural analysis programs (SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro)
Knowledge of building codes and standards, Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork
Attention to detail
Project management experience (for senior roles)
Ability to work on-site and travel as needed
