Job Summary
Monitor machine performance, ensuring output meets specifications.
Load/unload materials, set up tools/fixtures, and run production batches.
Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting (jams, misfeeds, abnormal sounds/heat).
Record production data (counts, downtime, scrap, timestamps) using paper logs or computer systems.
Maintain cleanliness and follow 5S/housekeeping standards around equipment.
Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) when required.
Required Skills includes; Ability to read work instructions, SOPs, and simple diagrams/blueprints (if applicable).
Basic math skills (measurements, tolerances, quantities).
Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Ability to follow safety rules and company procedures.
