Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems (power, lighting, control circuits).
Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs for offshore electrical equipment.
Inspect, test, and troubleshoot cables, switchgear, motors, generators, panels, and distribution boards.
Maintain instrumentation and electrical control wiring (where applicable).
Carry out isolation/lockout-tagout (LOTO) and ensure work is done safely.
Support electrical systems for cranes, pumps, compressors, HVAC electrical components, and related equipment.
Read and follow electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and job procedures.
Ensure compliance with offshore safety rules (PTW systems, permits, gas safety, fire safety).
Keep accurate records: maintenance logs, inspection checklists, test reports (e.g., insulation resistance, continuity, earth tests).
