Security Officer

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Patrolling premises — Conducting regular (often randomized) foot or vehicle patrols of interiors, exteriors, perimeters, doors, windows, gates, and other areas to detect unauthorized entry, hazards, or suspicious activity.
Monitoring and surveillance — Watching CCTV/VMS systems, alarms, and other security equipment; observing foot and vehicle traffic for irregularities.
Controlling access — Checking IDs/badges, issuing visitor passes, managing entrances/exits, screening people/vehicles/bags where required, and restricting entry to authorized individuals only.

Requirements and Qualifications:  High school Diploma or equivalent, Strong observation and attention to detail
Clear verbal and written communication
Judgment, problem-solving, and remaining calm under pressure
Conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
Customer service orientation
Integrity, reliability, and situational awareness.
