Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Loading/unloading and operating commercial washing machines, dryers, and sometimes ironers or presses; adding detergents, bleach, and other chemicals correctly.
Folding, pressing, stacking, and organizing clean laundry to quality standards.
Inspecting items for cleanliness, damage, or wear and reporting issues.
Tracking inventory of detergents, supplies, and linens; restocking as needed.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe laundry area; performing basic equipment care (e.g., cleaning lint traps) and reporting malfunctions.
Key Skills:
Attention to detail (sorting, stain treatment, quality checks)
Physical stamina and endurance
Time management and efficiency under volume
Basic knowledge of fabrics, detergents, and machine operation
Organizational skills and inventory awareness
Customer service and communication.
Reliability, safety awareness, and ability to follow procedures
