Core responsibilities / duties

Prepare and verify shipping documentation (BOLs, packing lists, commercial invoices, shipping labels, manifests).
Schedule and coordinate carrier pickups and freight shipments; work with carriers to resolve transit issues.
Receive incoming shipments: unload, inspect for damage/shortages, verify packing lists, and record receipts in WMS.
Operate warehouse equipment safely (pallet jack, hand truck, forklift if certified).
Enter and update inventory transactions in warehouse management / ERP systems; cycle counts and support inventory audits.
Ensure proper packaging to prevent damage and keep freight cost-efficient (consolidation, dimensional weight awareness).

Required skills and qualifications includes;  High school diploma or equivalent,

Abilities: Strong attention to detail, good organizational and time-management skills, reliable and punctual.
Physical: Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly (or per company policy), stand/walk for long periods, bend/kneel/stoop.
Soft skills: Clear communication, teamwork, problem-solving, ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple orders.
