Laundry Supervisor

Primary Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate a team of laundry attendants (and sometimes valet or linen-room staff) across shifts: assign tasks, monitor productivity, prepare work schedules/rosters, and ensure coverage.
Oversee the full laundry process: sorting, washing, drying, ironing/pressing, folding, quality inspection (including stain treatment and rewash programs), storage, and timely distribution to housekeeping, food & beverage, or guests.
Maintain and monitor industrial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, ironers, folders); ensure cleanliness, report malfunctions, and follow preventive maintenance.
Control inventory of linens, chemicals, detergents, and supplies; conduct par counts, track losses/damaged items, and reorder as needed.
