Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine specifications and materials needed
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials using hand and power tools
Install structural components: framing, floor joists, roof trusses, stairs, doors, and windows
Build and install cabinetry, trim, molding, and other finish carpentry
Erect scaffolding, formwork (for concrete), and temporary structures
Repair and maintain wooden structures and fixtures
Inspect completed work for accuracy, level, and alignment.
